Control Room ManagementFrom initial set ups in venues, ranging from Scout huts and marquees in fields to rugby stadiums and 5-star hotels, whatever the venue we adapt the event's needs to ensure sufficient seating, power supply and suitable layout. We strongly believe that all control rooms should have effective management to assist with welfare needs and the clear flow of information to keep to an event time line.

Course/Route OperationsLinking in with the crews on the ground we ensure that all information is passed relating to the set up of any course, whether it be on closed or open roads. We action any requests to make sure resources are deployed to locations where required to make the event's route's safe and compliant with the event plans.

Venue/Site/Hub ManagementThis role varies from liaising with event village staff or other teams, through to having a dedicated channel that is for the relevant event managers to communicate with one another. All actions and requests are logged and the relevant persons spoken with to ensure all matters are resolved in the quickest time. This enables the smooth and effective running of the event and addresses any problems that arise.
|
Traffic ManagementWe can provide the control room coordination of traffic management plans for an event, ensuring that road closures are placed in on time by the relevant contractors. We will then act as a point of contact during the event to address any issues that arise. Working to event production time lines, and when safe to do so, we can coordinate the reopening phases to ensure the removal of road closures ensuring times and agreements set by the local authorities are met.

Security and StewardingFrom the initial deployment of staff before an event starts, to the stand down times. We make sure staff and supervisors put road closures in at the times needed and then take them out as directed by the authorised person within the event control room. We address any issues or actions that need sorting throughout the duration of the day, logging all information.

Medical/First Aid ResponseFrom obtaining the initial information from the informant on the ground, we ensure all details needed are recorded and then triage the situation given other incidents that are ongoing. We provide clear guidance and directions to the staff on the ground and liaise with the event medical team and NHS ambulance liaison to ensure the suitable response is given to any incident that is reported.
