We create bespoke training packages for our clients to meet their own specific needs. While there are generic training packages in existence, we ensure tailor made solutions are provided to help teams be as effective as possible.
There are five modules for our clients to choose from, covering the key control room functions. They run from half a day to a full day, and can be taken in sequence or singly. We are open to discussing alternative requirements to meet the needs of our audience.
For anyone who will carry a radio on site, whether or not they work in the control room. Covers the handset and the net properly, so the first call is a clean one.
For anyone new to control room work, or working alongside one for the first time. Gives attendees an understanding of the function a control room undertakes.
For those who will keep the log, and for the managers who rely on it afterwards. A log is a record that may be read in public, and this module treats it as one.
For those with basic control room awareness who will hold a radio channel on an event. Focussed on the skills the net actually demands.
For anyone managing or taking a lead role within a control room, including those who will answer for it afterwards.
While we list a number of specific modules that we feel are relevant for supporting with training teams who work in Control Rooms, we are happy to discuss any other specific criteria that you have. This could result in a hybrid course being developed that works best for you!
